Childrens Dance Studios
At Creation Station, we take a unique approach to teaching the art of dance to children. Not your average children's dance studio, our focus is on the process of creativity and its ability to enlarge and enrich every child's life. Our goal is not to churn out platoons of technically perfect child dancers, but rather to use wildly creative story dancing programs as a means of helping each child express his or her own unique gifts.
We teach dance and movement classes to kids ranging in age from eighteen months to fifteen years. Our youngest students enjoy classes which strengthen their coordination and prepare them for actual dance techniques down the road. Our music and movement classes for kids eighteen months to three years use a combination of props, music, puppets, and bubbles to bring the joy and fun of music appreciation to life.
Our Creation Station children's dance studios are known throughout Los Angeles and New York as the number one dance schools for kids. That's because we incorporate one element above all others: fun! Studies have shown that kids learn better when teachers make fun a part of the curriculum, and that holds true whether the kids are toddlers or teenagers.
As your child grows, he or she will be ready to take some of our more technique-driven classes like ballet/tap, hip hop, jazz, and musical theater.
