Ms. Jude
Founder/CEO
Judy Carmen has dedicated her life to children and the arts and has established herself as an educator, entertainer and business owner. From a very young age, she performed in theater and on television in the US, Canada, England, Germany and Japan. After graduating from the University of Southern California with a double major in Theater and Marketing, Judy set her sights on a career in the Arts. In 1992, while teaching art and music to toddlers, she decided to combine her skills as an educator with her theatrical background to open Creation Station, known as the #1 dance schools in LA and NY.

Since opening Creation Station, Judy has also had the opportunity to use her skills as a children's entertainer. She starred in the PBS children's series "The Cory the Clown Show", appeared with a group of Creation Station students on the award winning "Sesame Street's 30th Anniversary television special, "Elmopalooza", is creating a series of children's educational dance videos and CD-ROMS based on Creation Station's teaching method and developed a children's movement show based on Creation Station called "123 Grow!"

Judy is a humanitarian who has helped enrich the lives of innumerable underprivileged children and their families through the Arts. She is currently a consultant for the City of Los Angeles and their arts program. She was awarded a government-funded grant to have special needs children attend Creation Station. She has worked with the Mattel Children's Hospital at UCLA as a liaison between the critical care children and their Doctors as well as a playtime pal for children affected and effected with AIDS and HIV. Judy awarded full scholarships to all Los Angeles bound Bosnian refugees and their families to attend Creation Station classes. She donated Hip Hop classes, her dance facility, and instructors to "CoachArt" - a program for children with cancer. Judy also designed a movement program for the Braille Institute of Los Angeles. Additionally, she was awarded national grants form Children's Hospital Los Angeles and the Los Angeles Regional Center for her work with disabled children by empowering them and their imaginations through the Arts.


Ms. Dina
East Coast
Director
Dina Casellini originally hails from Southern California. She has been involved in Ballet, Tap, Jazz, and Hip Hop since the age of three. Dina began her career as a dance teacher in 1985 and has taught at numerous academies and schools in California and New York. She joined the Creation Station staff in 1991 and eventually became the Director in 1997. Creation Station is currently one of the largest and most well respected dance facilities on the West Coast. Since relocating to New York in 1999, Dina has built 5 locations from the JCC and the Reebok Sports Club in Manhattan to the Scholastic Store in SoHo and all the way out to Long Island, with many more opening soon!

Dina continually studies with many world renowned masters, and is also currently optaining her Masters in Cognitive Studies at Columbia's Teachers College.
